Animatronics
Anybody got good Halloween animatronics? I've got two, a pop up werewolf and a rising pumpkin head. I wonder if you are starting your own Halloween attraction business, if its a good idea to use animatronics that are in the $100 to $200 range or if you would want something more "industrial."

Halloween cancelled?
Im in NJ and it looks like Halloween has been cancelled, or at least postponed for a few days because lots of people don't have power. We had a really bad snowstorm over the weekend and lots of trees came down and fell on power lines and there are lots of people that are now without electricity and ...

Lone Wolf
Lone Wolf would be an excellent idea for a halloween costume. I usually dress up as Lone Wolf for Renaissance Faires. For those who arent familiar with Lone Wolf, hes the main protagonist in a series of game books. Here is the link. http://www.google.com/imgres?q=%22lone+wolf%22+gamebooks&um=1&a...

Re: Offensive Halloween Costumes
In addition to the ideas mentioned in this thread, you could also consider being a Dirty Old Man, that would be a good offensive halloween costume! What you do is you get a good "old geezer" mask at your local halloween store and you wear that and a trench coat. You also of course want to ...

Re: Offensive Halloween Costumes
Some of those costumes were hillarious. imagine being a nudist for halloween, or for that matter, Freddy Mercury with AIDS. At the store I saw a Richard Nixon mask with a long Pinnochio nose. They should make a George W. Bush mask like that with the long nose and all, that would be great for an offe...

The Stand
The Stand, based on the book by Stephen King is good. Flagg is really scary and the actor does a really good job. Flagg actually looks like Michael Jackson from Thriller when hes in the corn field. I heard there are some differences with the movie and the book though, I just got the book and so I wi...

You might want to carry a gun if you're going to visit such places as satanic churches. Getting a carry permit in N.C. isn't that hard.

Jimmy Greenbean
I heard this story from a friend when we were both about 9 years old. I thought it was scary at the time but not so much now. There was this boy, Jimmy. As it was, Jimmy's dad was a scientist who did all sorts of weird experiments in his basement that often involved the use of strange chemicals that...

Re: Costumes you've never done before
A neighbor of mine was once a pinball machine for Halloween. This was back some 55-60 years ago when pinball machines were the big thing instead of video games. He had this big thing sticking out of his chest and he had working lights and everything. I wish I had a picture of it.

Cheap costumes
For people who don't want to break the bank this Halloween season, we can post here for ideas on really inexpensive costumes. Off hand, I can think of the ghost costume as perhaps the least expensive. All you do is take a white sheet and cut holes in it for the eyes, nose and mouth, and there you ha...

Anybody who can afford the deluxe Darth Vader outfit, it looks just like the real Darth Vader outfit that David Prowse used on screen, with working lights, heavy breathing and everything, that would be really good for halloween. The deluxe Darth Vader outfit however, goes for around $1000. Also, if ...
