It sounds splendid.

Rick Steve's Christmas special is one of his best.

I watch it several times a year.

I lucked out for sure.

It's an old lumber and gold mining town, with a lot of late Victorian storefronts and houses.

The big tree off of my balcony has shed its leaves, revealing winter approaching over the foothills.

As soon as the giant tree off my balcony loses its leaves I will have a clear view of the charming historic downtown in my new hometown.

If the don't decorate I'd be shocked.

I took down Halloween and most of my fall yesterday, leaving Thanksgiving stuff out until that weekend, and put up my Christmas tree and mended a wreath or two.
