Re: Night Stalker Coming to Big Screen
So here we are, nearly two years later and still no word on whether this remake is really going to happen. I'll give it a chance if it does but it would be nearly impossible to improve on Darren McGavin's interpretation of Carl Kolchak. I'm having the same misgivings about the remake of IT, Tim Curr...

Re: Early Halloween Sightings!
Not exactly Halloween, but Bath and Body Works and Yankee Candle have begun to release their autumn collections. When I want an early genuinely Halloween experience I usually look at the catalogs from Grandin Road, Lillian Vernon, Miles Kimball, and the like.

Re: Halloween Children's Books
One of my children's favorites was Big Pumpkin by Erica Silverman - about a witch that grows a gigantic pumpkin and gets help from a ghost, a vampire and others because she wants to make a pie but can't get it off of it's vine.

Re: horror movie blog
Hi Tantraman, have been reading over your blog and really like it. I feel the need to set the record straight on one item though; in your Sept 26 post you state that Creepshow was the first multi horror movie and I'm afraid that's just not true. Horror anthologies (as they are called) go all the way...

Re: Hotel Transylvania Movie
My teen daughters saw Hotel Transylvania when it first came out and all they would say was that they liked it but it bothered them that so much of the beginning of it seemed to be copied from Mad Monster Party - which they love. I finally saw it over the summer and while I see what they are referrin...

Re: What was the best decade for Halloween?
For me it was the late '60's, early '70's - so many children's Halloween specials on TV, homemade costumes, my mom was still handing out homemade popcorn balls and caramel apples, those little orange boxes for UNICEF, school parties where parents could bring cupcakes and cookies they made. Mom cut m...

Re: Halloween type shows on tv
I read that TMC is going to have horror movies every Monday from mid-afternoon until late from the 10'th to the 24'th and all day and night on Halloween.

Re: help on picking a wig
Any one of them would probably work for you, but I think the 2'nd one is the closest - Jessica has relatively long straight-ish hair and it's parted so there is a swoop over one eye (Veronica Lake style).

I like them both but there's something about #1 that is just classic haunted house/cemetery to me - I'm with iHaunt on this one.

A website I visit every year starting about now is halloweenhaunt.wordpress.com. It's not a radio station (like you're probably looking for), but a blog.

Re: Pumpkin Coffee
Torani makes an excellent pumpkin pie flavoring syrup, both in regular and sugar-free, that is great in coffee - several coffee houses in our area use Torani syrups to make their flavored blended coffees - both hot and cold. I like to whip about a tablespoon of real pumpkin with 2 tablespoons coffee...
