lamp

Post by putrid » Mon Jul 28, 2008 9:45 pm

i was wandering around Walmart today in the camping section and I saw karosene(mis spell) lamps that would look awesome for a grave digger to hold. it was pretty big (foot long) and really cheap. it looked as it it would be easy to wire a light where the flame would be as well. they had red and blue ones.... I bought the red one. I think I paid like 6$. better head down and get one before they stop stocking for summer stuff.

I was really surprised. I had paid twice as much not including s&h on ebay.... now I feel stupid.

Did they have any fall or Halloween stuff up?
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

Good idea. Lanterns can give a very eerie vibe.

Wal-Mart won't have any Halloween stuff up until early September most likely. After they take down the back to school stuff...

not really. a whole bunch of storage containers though in that area. you can never have too many stoarge containers I've found. especially once you start amassing a large quantity of halloween props.
This time of year is a great time to look through the discontinued bin. you'd be surprised what you can find to make props out of.

I agreee with Putrid.

Last Friday I went down to the barn (converted into a storage/play house) to look for something and ended up moving a few dozen tubs around, all holiday stuff.

No wonder I can never find what I'm looking for.
