Mad Scientist?

I am going to have a "mad scientist" set up for my mini trail. I need some ideas for things he would be doing, at the moment I have a cut off hand and a 5 foot skeleton that I'm going to put some expanding insulation on and paint it. That's still kind of plain, does anyone have any ideas for scary mad scientist things?

Lab Rats + Cages
Dead bodies
toe tags
body bags
IV bags
Beakers, jars, sieves, mortar/pestle
scalpel
patient charts
id badges
poison dust/Rat poison

make a corpse and then drag around with you. that should freak some people out.
