Rising Dead Man's Cemetery And Haunted House

Here it is! My decorations!! These were taken the day after Halloween.
The house has three apartments. I live in the one that has the porch. The landlord is kind enough to let me decorate every year! :D
Image
I never got the big, completely realistic graveyard I was dreaming of. But I am still satisfied.

Image
Here is a better view.

Image
The gravestones were held up with stakes and bricks. The bricks kind of ruin the illusion of a real graveyard. :( But most of them stayed right in place! :D And I am sure it was because of the bricks!

Image
One of those ghouls that eat old bones got into my graveyard!
lol

Image
And the graveyard happens to be right next to a haunted house! Too bad the cars ruin the look of the place being deserted. :(

Image
You can not see anything very good in the window in this picture. But at night with the light on it looks cool. On Halloween night only a strobe light was on inside and it looked pretty cool! There is another window on the porch where you can see the inside very good!

Image
A ghost looking out into the yard.

Image
This is one guy you don't want to run into! He moans and screams when there is a loud sound.

Image
Here is an inside view of the window.

Image
This is the inside. You can see this from the porch window. It looks darker here than it did for real. It does not look this dark and eerie in real life. This is a really creepy photo!

Image
Here is my costume. These two pictures were taken on Halloween. It was getting darker so these pictures are not that clear.

Image
I was a mix of the grim reaper and an evil clown. I call it Death Clown.

I had a pretty good Halloween!

They're great pics! I believe you will do this again next year, even if you get a summer job and make extra cash and save it for next newest stuffs like that! ;)

Great job, RDM!

Thanks! I can't wait to see yours.

Dad bought me most of this stuff. I kind of feel guilty because we are poor and he shouldn't be spending so much money on this. So I promised to get a job and buy my own things next year.

Your 2006 decorations look pretty lame, not much to see there. But your 2008 looks better! So, now you got a new camera and I know you will snap some more pics this year! :D

2008 pictures were taken on a film camera because I got mad at my digital camera and threw it and it broke. (Same old dumb Bobby! ) But they were put on a CD at Walgreens when they were developed. So I took them off the CD onto photobucket and put them here. Can you do that?

I remember reading somewhere that a long time ago people used to believe that ghouls went into cemeteries, dug up the graves and ate the corpses. So that is what that mask in the bushes is supposed to be.

It's just some old legend. People used to believe all kinds of weird things. A lot of old superstitions about ghosts, vampires, haunted houses and cemeteries. Let me google it for ya.

I'll make a thread about it. People can share different superstitions and folklore.
