I'm curious how large a home haunt people do generally. Like how overboard do you get?
What yard space do you take up? Ex; Front yard only, front and back yard? Do you use your garage space?
So far I've only used our front yard and porch, but love so much of what I've seen I'm wondering if I can expand to the garage or side and backyard. It does get contagious especially when you ind or make props you love and want to incorporate.

Re: Your Home Haunt Yard Size
We live in a cul-de-sac, so it's tricky to get foot traffic. I've been advertising the past couple of years (neighborhood flyers and a piece in the local paper) but I concentrate on the front yard, front of the house, and garage.
This is the front yard, running a fogger test a few days before Halloween. as you can see, I try and use the entire front yard, driveway, house, and garage. I build a tower to go on the front of the garage and we put an apothecary inside. I also have a cider shack at the end of the driveway, and I hand out hot cider to people on Halloween.
Here's a pic that shows a bit more of the yard.

Remember, it's never too early to start planning for Halloween.
