I like stalking and eating groundhog in February, but other than that winter is like a bad dream.Pumpkin_Man wrote: I agree. I love Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I like getting togetehr with my family on Christmas Day, and I love a Christmas fire in my fire place.
As for the snow, I don't mind that so much as I do the doldrums and the boredom of those two very long months. January and February are like two solid months of Mondays. There's very little to look forward to during those months. Even the holidays for those months are nothing to really get excited about. No belove traditions like we have for other times of the year, like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter, 4th of July or Christmas. Just a very drab, bland daily grind. BORING!!! I do watch the Charlie Brown Valentines Day specials in Feb, but beyond that, I wish we could skip right from December to March.

All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

I like shoveling snow. Helps tame the winter pudge rolls. As long as there's less than four feet of it.
The snow, I'm talking about.

That guy looks like a friend of mine just across the street, two houses from me.

Re: How much do you like Christmas?
Like I said, the only major bummer about Christmas is that it's the "last hurrah" of the yar, and then we go into post Christmas Winter. As for shoveling, ANYTHING to alleviate the boredom. Even shoveling snow starts to look good. Perhaps I should take up snow mobiling or something.
At any rate, I will be anxious to see January and February gone when 2011 rolls around.
