All of the above, apparently.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

It's freezing outside today, I need all the blankets I can find.

Bumping this thread to register my dissatisfaction that it is impossible to purchase carving pumpkins in November. I always save one back to carve for my Thanksgiving centerpiece, because around here, they all disappear on Nov 1. I have even seen workers at a local grocery smashing pumpkins in the parking lot on Nov 1. Seriously? Does no one want pumpkins for Thanksgiving?

I still have one of those dusty green colored Cinderella pumpkins, but this year's Thanksgiving will be kind of low-key, as lot of people are traveling, so no carving.

I love Cinderella pumpkins, but it's been three or four years since I bought one.

So are you cooking this year, Andy, or traveling?

Cooking, sort of.

One brother and his girlfriend and their kids are going to have a sort of impromptu ad hoc out of the box and freezer, Thanksgiving.

One of my sisters is doing a from-scratch traditional Thanksgiving.

I will help with prep and clean up at both.

Fortunately they're only a few houses apart and a few houses down from mine.

Have fun with your family! Mine is starting to gather in. One son lives here anyway. Ohio son came in last night. Daughter arrives from college this evening. I'm the sole cook this holiday, but I don't mind that. I enjoy holiday cooking.

Thanks! Indeed we did.

We played a board game on Thanksgiving night, and the next day we went to a movie (the 2nd Fantastic Beasts film, which we enjoyed. Afterward we went to Panera Bread, where I had Autumn Squash soup. OMG! I want that recipe!
