Which horror movie location is the creepiest? For me it's Crystal Lake in the dead of night.

For me, it's located in the spooky woods near the cabin just like the movie "The Evil Dead", and/or, "The Howling" movie!

Big, old empty houses... you can almost feel the memories of days past surrounding you. Old houses make noises individually unique to themselves. They seem more like living entities than mere structures.

I suggest you to watch "HOUSE" movie because it was really good movie. The movie was starring by William Katt, who lived in his elder aunt's haunted house after she passed away. He took care of her house in which he didn't know that the house was haunted.

House is really good, House II is okay.

HOUSE (1986) - Good!

HOUSE 2: THE SECOND STORY (1987) - Somewhat Okay!

HOUSE 4: HOME DEADLY HOME (1994) - Totally Bored!

Trivia Note: In case you ever wondered why you couldn't find HOUSE 3 on your video store shelves, while HOUSE 4 is readily available, here's the answer. Producer Sean S. Cunningham's 1989 THE HORROR SHOW was released overseas as HOUSE 3. The success of that release prompted overseas investors to fund HOUSE 4, which was not re-titled for Stateside distribution, causing the odd situation we have today.

The scariest location for me is deep in the woods, where it is easy to get lost and the thickness of the forest makes give the appearance of night even during mid day.

I am with Haunted H. I think the scariest movies are deep in the woods or even in the middle of nowhere. Call me a BIG CHICKEN - but the blair witch project scared the living you know what out of me!

I guess its the fear of not being able to run to help or something
