Ooo...I just got this and I think it's cool.

It's a compilation of old Halloween rarities from the 30's and 40's.

I like songs from that era. What with the Great Depression and WWII, people had a darker sense of humor.

I wouldn't put it on my MP3 player when I go for a run, but it's certainly preferable to, say, Toby Keith or Randy Travis.

If you look you can find most of the songs for free on The Internet Archive at archive.org but you need may need to search by the name of the artist to find them.

For example, the first one can be found here:

I know Mr. Ghost Goes to Town and With Her Head Tucked Underneath Her Arm are there.

While you're there you might want to listen to this:

Oh, those songs are a hoot! I love vintage music. I think this would be terrific fun at a party, especially mixed in with other things.

Thanks Murf. It's good to know that I'm not the only one here with good taste in music 8)

Have you ever watched the History Channel's "Haunted History of Halloween"? They have a few of the old songs mixed in with their history of the holiday. I always enjoy those segments. Louis Armstrong, and maybe the Andrews Sisters.

I think that is the DVD I bought last year. I'll have to pay closer attention when I watch it this coming weekend.
