My very first shrunken head

Hi, all. I'm practicing making shrunken heads. This is just a "practice" one unless it happens to come out good! I didn't use lemon juice so he will be slightly light to medium brown.
Here he is...after I took these pics, I fixed up his nose a bit, rounding it off so it wasn't so much of just a flat "triangle":
Sorry the pics are so blurry. I think it's because I didn't use a flash. Anyway, here's an ear, from sort of a three-quarters view:
He's in a salt water soak right now for 24 hours and then I'll be hanging him by his stem.
His mouth looks a bit too smiley for some reason, but who knows how it will look once it's shriveled, so he may be a keeper yet. Those are cloves for eyes. After he's dried (about 2-ish weeks, I think) I'll be snipping off a tiny piece of a clip-on ponytail I used to wear. I don't wear it because at this point my hair is longer than the fake ponytail. Anyway, I'm just going to stick a few tendrils on very sparsely.
I want to make a bunch of these over the summer for my witch's kitchen.
