Need tandem/dog costume ideas.

Hey everyone! I need some advice. Halloween is by far the best holiday (yes, holiday!) but this year, I'm coming up blank for costume ideas. My job is holding a contest and I thought it would be a nice idea for me to have a tandem costume with my small black dog (sorta a wiener shape). The only things I can come up with is her as a spider and me as a ____? Or her as a vampire and me as the victim. I really want it to be scary (that's the spirit of Halloween, right!) and I will make it. The only thing is she won't let me put things on her head.... so no Hannibal Lecter. So, any suggestions?

You could paint a white spider web on a black sweatshirt for the dog-spider theme.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Your pet is the spider, and you are the web. If you are handy and have time, you could even string some black yarn between the sleeves and the trunk of the shirt, so when you spread your arms, it looks like a web.
