Old costume donation

If you have an old costume (nothing scary but fun for kids), check with your local homeless shelter about donating them to the children there. Al kids should be able to dress up and not have to worry about affording a costume. Most shelters have halloween type parties for their guests, those children there deserve a night to be able to dress up and have fun. i know the shelter here does not want scary costumes, just fun things. Also, they will use a lot of dress up items for the younger kids to play dress up (even when it is not halloween). Check with your local shelter. just NO SCARY costumes and usually only kids costumes.
