Well, here's what an evening of work has gotten me.. (i'll post the pre work like the making of the clue and mache, the cutting, and painting) This is the framework of the mask. i have just a few little tweeks to do to it to give it it's character, but this so far is what i've got

this is the first piece of material i put on

SO WHAT DO YA THINK!!!
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Looks good man. Are you making a whole character with a backstory and everything?

a friend of mine and i have been throwing around ideas about opening a "haunted" house during the christmas season based on a character and this mask when finished would be an option for the "face" of this character.. its been an idea for like nearly 2 years now and things have been slowly pulling themselves together. we actually both cary the license and insurance to orchestrate something like this.
