this year i am dressing as satans bride. i have made my own costume. with black lace fingerless gloves and black lace veil. what i want to know is...... am i dead or alive? do i have a white or natural face? red or black lipstick and nail polish?

I think you should be alive and evil-looking, but still somewhat natural. In a lot of movies, the devil always surrounds himself with beautiful women who are actually ugly on the inside, or in certain lights/situations. It would be cool if you made your face look really pretty but have scary monster teeth and scary hands and nails.

Or maybe you could make some of your face pretty and then do makeup so you have a hollow-looking cheek and rotting skin on the other side.

Have you ever seen the movie 'Legend'? It has Tom Cruise, Tim, Curry, and Mia Sarah. It's from the 80's but is total fantasy and terrific! You might get some ideas from that. I would figure Satan's Bride to be a dark, gothy human waiting or possibly Goddess like, in which case you would not be dead. But it's Halloween, so do whatever you like!
