Alluring and *really* creepy... any ideas?

So far the ideas I've come up with on my own aren't really playing out... I can't seem to find the pieces to the puzzle at any of the costume shops. Although, I may not be looking in the right places or completely happy with my ideas... ya know, hoping something else will come along that just FITS.
Tell me whatcha think... if you can add anything... or if you have a better idea... I'll really appreciate it! I'm a Halloween nut... I mean, I'm setting stuff up to start boo-ing departments at the hospital where I work. teehee
#1 Starlet... Half dead.. so half would be all gorgeous and such and the other would be zombie-like. However, I don't know what kind of death would be better? Problems I'm encountering... finding a darn dress!! I've been checking out Goodwill and the theatrical costume shops... go figure!
#2 Dead Lab Tech.. Since I am a lab tech, I think it would be kinda neat to have my job kill me... probably death by some disease that I'd catch. This one just isn't very appealing to me cuz it's too close to everyday stuff, ya know?
#3 Ice Queen/Spirit... But not the good happy kind, no, this would be a representation of the "deathly" side of winter but still very beautiful... as winter can definitely be! The problems I'm finding with this one... Dress?? No clue. Makeup?? No clue. Hair.. well, I have a clue, but I'll have to either make it or find a way to make my own hair look like it's blue/white and frozen. I figure making it would be easier. I know there are ice-fx kits out there... I should try to get my hands on one of those and play around... Dress.. hmm.. still no clue.
So there ya go... like I said, I'll greatly appreciate any help I can get! My budget is negotiable (I worked a lot of overtime for this.. I told ya I was a Halloween nut!) so I'm even considering some of those special contacts.

with the idea of an Ice princess. I did find a dress, I was going to try and dye it an icy blue, right now it is off white, so, It might still work. I am going to take Icicle garland and using a tag gun, and attach icicles to dress, in random circular pattern. And probably a crown with more icicles dangling off it. IF you think of anything else, please let me know. I would also like to see a picture. Thanks, Diane
