Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Haha, awesome. I gotta say, my Dad's fiance's daughter's costumes were the best I saw this year. I didn't see many costumes.

Two Face, but I looked more like someone who's face skin had just been ripped clean off.

I'll post one of my Halloween ones up on there.
It's gonna take a while. 103 images uploading at once all to Photobucket might take forever!

Re: Best costumes you saw in 2009?
I didn't see any wildly inventive costumes this year. I think the group that impressed me most was a family who had all dressed like Wizard of Oz characters. Little girl was Dorothy, but I saw the Wizard and Glenda riding in the back of a truck with her; also the Tin Man. Not sure who was in the cab.
At one of the houses, the woman appeared to be holding her head in her hands. She had gotten a headless mannekin (sp?), just the torso, and dressed it in a long white dress with a flowing skirt. It was affixed to her shoulders somehow. She was seated and had cut out the area for her face to jut through. She had mannekin's hands "holding" her head, and she was seated, handing out candy. It was really something.
