YES ... a few years ago, a deluxe version package of "War of the Worlds" was published, with all the back story in addition to the original story.

But the best treat about this book was that it included not only the original radio broadcast of "The Night That Panicked America" (which was itself the name of a 1975 TV-movie about the radio play), but it also includes an interview with ...

H.G. Wells AND Orson Welles together!

It is just priceless, and well worth the effort to find and the money to buy.
