Horror Remakes!
Are you getting tired to see more horror remakes???
Well, I guess I would say I have no complains about any horror remaKes... Some remakes have same storyline, same characters, etc. Some remakes have different storyline, different characters... From a discussion in the Horror section; I thought we could discuss remakes that bear little or no resemblance to their originals.

Re: Horror Remakes!
I could not believe it when I found out the 2004 The Grudge movie was a remake of a movie that was made only a year before! Where do they stop?

The Grudge remake???? Never heard of that!
There's The Grudge and The Grudge 2. I think the third part is coming next year, I think.

There was this.

Then the remake.

A movie remade a year after it is made! I can not believe this! I thought only old movies were remade.

Yes, I can see it the one was made in 2003! I've really never seen this "Ju-on: The Grudge" movie... well, maybe it must be the very first one ever made! It was R-rated, so I will try and rent it to see myself and I will share my thoughts here!
Thanks for pointing out the link for me!

Make sure you also check out the original Japanese versions of The Eye (2002) and The Eye 2 (2004). Thumbs down to that Jessica Alba mess...

Re: Horror Remakes!
Can they ever come up with something original? Instead of just remaking things?

Re: Horror Remakes!
They're remaking more and more of the Japanese movies, which I'm not a big fan of to begin with. It's to the point now where pretty much any original movie is going to get compared to an existing movie in some way. It's hard to do anything that's completely new anymore. Everything's been done in one way or another.

Yes, from the beginning of the old originals to the new remakes.
For instance, BLACK CHRISTMAS was the original in 1973, and it was remade again in 2006.
