Those things are important and I do have a lot of hobbies. I have my motorcycle, my stereo, my photography, and a few other hobbies that I like to indulge in. The long Winter doldrums are the worse time, but I do finds way to aleviate normal boredom that happens in life. Luckily, I no longer live in mind-dulling New Lenox. The house you live in, your surroundings, the town, and to a lesser degree the people you are with all contribute to an environemt that is either stimulating or boring. Not take my two brothers, for instance. They LOVE to watch Football on tv. Every Saturday itns the Notre Dame game, every Sunday it's the Chicago Bears, and Barry actualy likes to watch high school football. That's great for them, but to me, team sports are like watching paint dry. Bob, Jamee and Jim also like to play Scrabble, hearts, bridge and various board games. I can't stand it personaly, so I look for other persuits.

Of course, now we're gettig into personal likes and dislikes. The point is, that your environment is very important. If you live in a house that you hate, or a town that you hate, or a neighborhood that you hate, your life is going to be miserable. Modern day subdivision living, to me, is a vey mind dulling, predictable, and often downr ight depressign. And that's how I feel about it.

Notre Dame huh? didn't you guys almost put one into USC this weekend?
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

They say that life's a carousel
Spinning fast, you've got to ride it well
The world is full of kings and queens
Who blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Its heaven and hell, oh well

I wouldn't know, Adrien. I am not a Football fan by any means. My two brothers are the Football lovers. They follow Notre Dame, the Chicago Bears, and all kinds of others, but I could die very happy if I never saw another team sporting event again for the rest of my life. No offence to any sports fans on the forum intended.

We are getting a bit off topic, as Midnight-Shadow pointed out, but with 6 pages the conversation was bound to wonder off topic for a little bit.

Well, in a half-hearted attempt to get back on topic. I will say that I can NOT WAIT to see what the new version of "The Wolf Man" has to offer us horror and Halloween fans.

The bad news is we have to wait until Feb of 2010. The good news is that the release of the new "Wolf Man" will take some of the curse off of those long Winter doldrums.

Further good news is that it will likely be on DVD on time for Halloween of 2010.

I can't stand January or February. Two months of Mondays IMHO.

That would be great if the new "The Wolf Man" ends up in the library, all though if it's a good flick, I plan to have it in my own personal collection.
