Night Watch

Has anybody seen the movie, Night Watch? It's based off the book by Sergei Lukyanenko, which I finished reading the other night. It was originally a Russian film, but there is an English version. It was one of the most expensive movies ever created in Russian film making history. It's rated R. Sorry kids.

Among normal humans live the "Others" possessing various supernatural powers. They are divided up into the forces of light and the forces of the dark, who signed a truce several centuries ago to end a devastating battle. Ever since, the forces of light govern the day while the night belongs to their dark opponents. In modern day Moscow the dark Others actually roam the night as vampires while a "Night Watch" of light forces, among them Anton, the movie's protagonist, try to control them and limit their outrage.

Just the trailer scared the **** out of me.

If I do watch this one it will be on a bright sunny with all of the lights on

I short of half remember seeing a trailor for this flick, but I don't think it's been released to the theatres yet.

I'll probably see it when it is, or when it comes out on DVD.

It was released in theatres back in 2006. It's been on DVD for a while now.
