Anyone know any good ghost movies? I think this, like witches and sometimes werewolves, can be pretty hit or miss. I kinda like the Haunting and House on Haunted Hill but overall, I'm having a tough time coming up with really good ones.

I watched a mini-series called 'Rose Red' for the first time a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it! It was adapted from the Stephen King book. I believe Mr. King also helped make it?

'Ghost Ship.'
'Stir of Echoes.'

I haven't seen Rose Red. Is it scary?

Not really scary. I found it just a little eerie. :)

Back in the day, that Stephen King movie, IT scared me so bad. I had nightmares forever because of that one. I probably need to go back and watch it again though, since I'm not a kid anymore 8)

Great to watch on a stormy night with some candles going.

I thought 'The Sixth Sense' and 'The Others' were pretty good, but only if you haven't seen them yet. Once you know the twist, it's ruined.

I also thought the original versions of 'The Grudge' and 'The Ring' were great. You can get them with English subtitles on Netflix.

Oh I still love The Others. It still makes me jump and that old house and the land it sits on create a great spooky atmosphere.

You need to see The Innocents, which is what the Others was taken from.

Waaay creepier.

Oh no! I hated the Innocents! I wanted to drop kick both of those kids off a bridge...and while we're on the subject push the nanny off as well! 8)

Is that the one with Barbara Hershey in it? Sounds familiar.
