Black cats!

My roommate's black cat got out the other night and we spent over an hour looking for him. He was right out in the open, we just couldn't see him. We don't let him out because we live on a very busy street and animals always get smushed out there. And yes, we used flashlights. Just had to point them in the right direction.

this was my black cat, Boo. She was adopted from the pound and after having her home for 5 days she developed a blood disease and passed away. She was such a cool little cat, I really miss her even tho I only had her for a short time

My childhood pet was an all black (nose & pads too) shorthair cat named Thomasina.
She was born the same month that I was and lived to be 19.

Yup! I know how this is. Every time something goes missing, I yell for the cat.
The title is... 'Moving out of our apartment and we came across her stash.'

Just read someone's facebook post...
"They should make a show like cash cab called Cats cab where people get into a taxi and a cat is driving and all of these flashing lights go off, but instead of answering questions everyone dies because cats can't drive."

I have an affinity for all cats, but there is something a bit Halloween about a black cat.

I never owned a cat until I was in my mid-40s, but since then I have owned five (not all at the same time; I have three now). My first two were grey tabbies; then we got an orange & white cat. Next was an orange cat, and then an all-white one. I think black cats are gorgeous and would love to have one, but I don't want another cat now. It is expensive to maintain them all!
Our orange cat is a girl. I am told that is unusual. Most orange cats are boys.

How funny Murf I was 45 when I got my first cat, she passed away a year and half ago and then we got Luna and Salen, then Salem died and we got Payton an orange female cat, she is too funny, she follows me around the house talking to me all the time and she loves being held, she's such a cute baby!!! (She was 7 months old when we got her, now she is a year and 2 month. Luna is white and gray and the same age.)
