What do you like to decorate with? That bucket of blood?

What I will do is buy the wooden letters, trace them onto some foam, then cut out the letters and glue the foam onto the plywood. I will do this to most of the gravestones then glue the wooden letters and the cut out foam letters on some other gravestones. I am not saying this will happen but I will try to get to work on the stones and try this.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...

make sure to cut out the centers of letters like 'a' and 'o' very carfully 'cause you will need them to complete the carved-out look.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Here's a great link I found last year for making really realistic foam tombstones. I never tried it myself, but I may this year.

http://www.howloweenqueen.com/tombstonehowto.html

She actually has a lot of cool stuff she does. If you go to her main page and then click on projects, you can take a look. She is great at making her stuff soooo realistic.

HTH!
