Halloween 2010 on Sunday

It's not that they're making bad movies, but that th ey aren't comming with any new good movies. They keep remaking all the old classics of "yester year," but you hardly ever see any new ideas being made into movies. Some movies should be remade to bring them into the present day, and I did enjoy the new "Halloween," and the way it gave us a better insight into Michael Meyers. I hope that the new "Nightmare on Elm Street" will do the same with Freddy Krueger, but I won't know until I see it. Other movies, like then ew "Friday the 13th," and the new "The Omen," were just flat out remakes from the original scripts, and were just not necessary.

I liked the new Alice in Wonderland but I never saw the original cartoon so I might have missed something...

I never saw either nor do I care to. I am just not a fan of fairy tales. I HATED 'The Brothers Grim."

I guess it all depends on how much of a fan the director is and his passion for the Genre...

You've got to be kiddint!!! "Monster Squad" was one of the hokeyest movies I ever saw. A remake canonly be worse.

But I am still going to enjoy Summer and my motorcycle, and I am going shopping for 4th of July "party favors" next Friday.

I have no enthusiasm for Halloween this year.....
