Actually it appears it is going to rain tomorrow and Thursday too. Hopefully Friday.

The pumpkin I mean.Rising Dead Man wrote:Ya. He got a nice scary screaming face to go with the bite too. Also I think it was a skunk. I have seen them around at night a lot.

I am in the minority of people who aren't bothered by skunk smell. Actually as long as the spray wasn't super close I rather enjoy it. Additionally I find skunks to be cute. When I was in college there were woods surrounding my campus and as a result we would get a number of woodland creatures on campus. Including skunks. They were so used to us though that I don't recall anyone ever getting sprayed. They would just walk right along next to you 3 or so feet away. There was even a "reverse skunk" who was white with black stripes he looked really cool.

I'm a bit behind my time this year. My husband wanted to switch my office, which is in the back of the house, for the bedroom, which is in the front of the house. The back bed room is darker and quieter, more conducive to sleeping. So we had to pack down both rooms and switch the furniture. It's seems to be working pretty well, but I'm just now getting to decorating. I hope to have the inside finished tonight and the outside tomorrow. I already have the corn stalks and scarecrows up outside, just need to hang the lights. Still setting up all my Halloween stuff on the inside though.
We're the farmer's scarecrows
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.
We scare away the birds,
We keep the farmer's corn safe
Without any words.
But when Halloween comes
We jump out of the ground
And we scare the boys and girls
When they come walking 'round.

I got most of my decorations up last Monday, but I still have to get AA and AAA batteries for some of my Halloween electronic gadgets. Tonight I'm going to go see "House at the End of the Street," and tomorrow after a long work day, because I have to video record a play, I am going to screen "The Blair Witch Project."
