I just assumed that because of the necklace and earrings.
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.

I can't say that it really scared me all that much, but it did remind me of a scene in "Dark Shadows" whan Nicholis Blair was damned to hell, and you saw the horible agony on his face as the flames engulf him.
