I use my phone and t he format is completely altered.

New look, larger screen, and everything is in a different position.

I'm missing the "View New Posts" button. That was the way I normally checked the board.

Not crazy about the web format on the PC either. I guess we'll just have to get used to it.

The "New Posts" is under "Quick links" in the upper left.

I am checking the various options for the mobile format - aka "responsive" - to see if there is a way to allow people to pick the mobile vs desktop versions.

The 3.1.2 version means the "old" 3.0.12 version will be getting fewer updates etc so I had to bite the bullet at some point.

I think I will be able to set it up in the next few days so that you'll be able to select a different style (aka theme) if you wish....I am working on it!

If you see things, just follow-up here or PM...but here is a bit better.

I know the logo is off a bit too, but that is minor.

p.s. It is NOT set in stone, it will keep improving for more usability. There are some things I like about the old layout too that are better and I think I can do most of it in here.

I am not sure if any of you have used BBPress vs phpbb - I did look at that too. Unfortunately it is one of those things where you have to keep up with the latest version or get left behind with bug fixes and new features (spam protection being a big one!). This seems a lot faster on the server than the previous version - subjectively.

I'm not a big fan of the color of the "Preview" and "Submit" buttons for example....they don't stand out enough for me.

I'm not crazy about this version vs the old version but I'll get used to it, it will just take time. I was upset about the missing "New Posts" button too until I went exploring and found it.....

Try hitting Ctrl and + at the same time to enlarge the text on the desktop.

I'm thinking the Halloween.com logo just needs to be shrunk down. That's pretty easy to do.
Everything just seems so...wide on this screen. I'm used to it being a little more compact.
I'm sure I'll get used to it though. If I can adjust to the format on Deviant Art, I can adjust to anything.

I think it depends on the theme/style used. I am looking for one more similar to the old one, but haven't found one that I like better than this yet.
