I just got attacked by something underneath the couch! I don't know what it is; can anyone help me?

I think I might have got a picture of it...but it's kind of dark under there...oh no...I think it sees me! AHHHHHH!!!!!

My daughter swears our cat attacks her bare ankles. He doesn't do that to anyone else, just her. I guess he is an ankle man!
