Halloween Discussion Forums, Costumes, Horror!

for so many reasons maybe because the kids........ we all love kids and we all love to have fun on halloween right? maybe the christian community is looking at it the wrong way.....ive always beleived that its not wrong to have FUN and its not wrong to celebrate once and a while sure halloween is all about ghost murders and crazy people but...halloween is a way for your kids to become more social and interactive and it gives you the time to teach your kids manners....pardon me if i expect a thank you from your child........halloween is fun to your kids and beleive it or not its way to releave stress....maybe if you really think about it halloween is a great holiday theres so many reasons why what do people have against it??????

Not all Christians have a problem with Halloween, it was the Catholic Church that gave the holiday its name. What many Christians would have a problem with is taking the 31st of October to indulge in activities that run contrary to their faith (i.e. mediums, fortune telling, etc.).

I think it goes without saying that everyone on this forum loves Halloween. I don't know whether it is "the Best" Holiday. I personally like many Holidays.

I think we made it clear that the vast majority of Christians do not have a problem with Halloween. There are certain "born again" groups that do not recognize it. That's fine. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.

We need to move past the over generalization of "Christians have a problem with Halloween". Look at the actual numbers, a more correct statement would be that "Christians do not have a problem with Halloween."
