1. Eat a Hershey bar.

2. Buy something with a skull on it.

3. Wear something orange.

4. Get really, really drunk.

5. If you aren't old enough to drink alcohol, drink a liter of something really, really sugary.

6. Go find a cemetery and take some grave rubbings.

7. Rent a scary movie.

8. Squirt big gobs of ketchup all over your windows (preferably on the outside).

9. Adopt a black kitten.

10. Dress up like a zombie, then go stumble around your local mall, enjoying the reactions.

I just downloaded this from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/The-Haunting-of-N ... =1-1-fkmr0

...and have listened to several tracks. It zapped me into the 'spirit' pretty quick.

It's an archive going back 20 years, from a radio station in Michigan that tells good old-fashioned ghost stories every Halloween. The general air of spookiness is enhanced by having witnesses call in who are reputed to part of the stories.

works for me!

I've got that same problem.
The Halloween season cannot get here quickly enough.
Look at it this way. In three months halloween decorations will begin showing up in stores.
