Micheal's sells Styrofoam platforms for lit house displays. Would I be being lazy if I bought those instead of painting and sculpting my own? :?

When I moved to Texas five years ago, I was in Kroger one day during early October. It was still extremely hot out, somewhere in the upper 90s, and they had one of those gigantic inflatable snow globes that people put out on their front lawns on display! It's not even Halloween and they're trying to push Christmas. I don't care how much people love Christmas, it was ridiculous. I was nowhere near ready to see anything related to Christmas at that point in time, especially when it still felt like summer even though it was fall according to the calendar. :x

On man...I always wish that I had a large needle with me when I see those things, even if it is at Christmastime.

I'm not a huge fan of those, either. I think they're tacky. :alien:

Yeah, Halloween is out early this year... I'm used to having to wait 'till AFTER Back-to-School is cleaned up. This is exciting... and depressing... because my Halloween budget has been drastically cut this year. =(

Big Lots has Halloween out now. :D

Hobby Lobby was setting it up Saturday. But, Christmas is in full swing there! Christmas! I love Christmas as much as anybody else, but COME ON! Let Halloween have its time!

I bought a mini-pumpkin growing kit at CVS yesterday.

It has a nice ceramic planter (that I can use for a vase when the plant has passed on) soil, peat-pots and seeds.

Since I spend more time at work I'm growing them there. I am embarrassingly bad at growing things so I'm counting on our plant service to keep after it.

I have to agree with Mac on this one. I couldn't resist getting these little guys who've become quite a cute trio on my desk: Image

...And to think I was shopping for Tooth Brushes, not Halloween stuff!

Great Quality items considering they're only a dollar!

Also...they have crows! I got those on another trip.
