Here is a link that my friend went to the cemeteries:
http://askjeane.homestead.com/untitled8.html
You will find a lot of cool pics of angels, crosses, statues and so on...
She has done a series of photography books called Silent Cities - journeying through the architecture of eternity. They feature images of unique monuments including angels, crosses, animals and shrouded figures, etc. Also she has done a book called The Lost Language of Cemeteries which is an alphabetical guide with photo reference depicting the meaning behind grave symbolism.

Thanks, Mac!
I think someone skipped all of that when someone went to Germany and other parts of Europe. What they say most people who touch a skull end up taking a spirit home with them.

Is that true?

Nope. It's not true. There are no such things as spirits, and if there were, they wouldn't be sitting around inside old skulls waiting for someone to touch them so they can piggyback along.

Anyway, I asked my friend that question like what I did post here... she believes that they are no longer there, their souls have long moved on, so touching them (which she did and have done before) didn't cause her any problems. That's not to say that sometimes spirits can "attach" themselves to people. She had it happen during paranormal investigations, which is why she protect herself well.
