hey!! yeah my sister and i have gone fore the last 2 years and are going this year! to universal Orlando.its AWESOME!!! totally worth the admission price but i wouldn't fly to get here. its worth our 6 hour drive because we go for 2 days/nights and make a super fun weekend trip but i wouldn't suggest that its SO good that i would ever fly to see it.

Hmmmm....something to think about. Well I've been wanting to take my boys to Universal. Is Horror Nights (section) an addition, to the amusement park? Driving is out of the question for me, all the way from NYC, so I prefer a 2.5 hour flight.

you add a "stay & scream" that just means you can add horrornights to your regular ticket for less money then just buying it seperate. but they dont sell children tickets because its to scary for them, there are also drink stands so almost everyone gets hammered and its not a great idea to have kids around other kids (teens) that are drunk.
I think its awesome and its definitely worth a look if you love Halloween!!
they close down the parks around like 6pm and re-open it around 8pm for Horrornights.
also i know im horrible at explaining things so feel free to keep asking questions if im not answering them right! lol

I had quite the lark there at Universal HHN in Hollywood last year. Went with an old friend, who brought a friend who knew the park really well. We were able to see a lot of things. I've heard the Hollywood version is a little different in terms of what's there than the Florida location... but I've heard good things about both.
Tips-- Go see what you REALLY want to see first because the lines are ungodly long later. Check the board for wait times regularly. Don't do the most popular haunt first unless you're first into the park. Do it later in the evening (close to closing).
I had a blast. I was laughing a lot. Some really great props... but I bemoaned the historical "accuracy" of some of the killers in the House of 1000 Corpses. Blah. I REALLY loved Chuck's Terror Tram ride! Got to see the Psycho House! Woo!
Some photos:
I'm on the left there-- Friend and I were posing for a photo-op when a fellow popped out from under the sign.... startled me. Freaked my friend out. Notice who is in the following pic. LOL
Awwww-- I made a friend.
Psycho House!
... also got to walk through a portion of the set for War of the Worlds (the Tom Cruise re-make)
It was a good time! I recommend going... they were sold out the night I went... so it was pretty crowded.

I've heard great things!
I was in Florida 5 years ago & two days before I was due to go home, they were starting to set it all up!
I should of booked the trip for a little longer. I messed that up!

I almost forgot the biggest tip-- buy your tickets in advance because the event sells out quickly. They have weekends and days when the event is cheaper. I recommend those nights-- they're up on the website.

I was in Orlando in October of 06, but I didn't get around to it. I really wanted to go, but we were on a family trip, and I couldn't generate any interest.
