so it's the time to start thinking about party food and I'd love to hear your tips and tricks. I'm sticking with a few tried and true things from last year. Caramel apples, pigs in a casket etc, but the cutest thing from last year were my Nutter Butter mummies! The recipes I found online all suggested dipping the cookies, but I took it a step further and they were ADORABLE!
So, you need a package of nutter butters
white almond bark
melt the bark in the microwave and put it in a ziplock with a frosting nozzle inserted in the corner of the bag. If you have a flat nozzle that's perfect. From there you just do the cookies one side at a time, icing them with "mummy wraps" and letting them dry before you flip them over to do the other side. Then just use 2 black sprinkles for eyes.
Everybody went nuts for these. They were delicious and so cute. i wish I had a pic! I'll definitely take one this year. So, let's hear em!

Re: cute, easy, and impressive!
We've been summertime hot in TN, but they are *promising* us that fall will arrive in earnest this weekend and stay.
