This is no one place but we have come across many haunted trees in our neck of the woods.
Some are perfect in their halloween creepiness while others need just a tweak of imagination to bring out their full halloween haunted spirit!

There's a scary face in the pear tree in my back yard.... I'll have to take a picture of it....

In earlier times, trees were used as the Gallows for when some one was sentenced to be hanged by the neck until dead. I imagine those particular trees would be as haunted as any abandoned insane asylum.
