Why don't you create your own idea how to carve the pumpkin?
For example, I got an idea how to crave the BATMAN shape logo on JOL! And also, how about carving the letters? Like if you can think of carving the words on the pumpkin like this: JACK O' LANTERN IS HERE!
So, let's get started sharing your ideas here!

Me being the Star Wars nerd that I am I was looking to do at least one with that theme. Not so much to display, but just for the fun of it. Possibly just the basic "Star Wars" logo.
And in celebration of Halloween's 30th anniversary I'm going to do the Knife/Jack o' lantern logo thing that's on the dvd.

STAR WARS logo is cool! Some people can do JAWS logo with an image of the shark! Also, one of the guys who did "Rob Zombie's Halloween" logo last year. Even, John Carpenter's Halloween - classic Michael Myers' face with knife image. I wish to attach some pics here, but I don't have any of pics with me. Maybe I will check and find if I can.

I always enjoy carving out wolves or demons. Much like these.
It tough to find good pumpkins to carve into. I usually gotta get some in mid-October if I want good ones. I usually keep them alive 'til 28-29, then I'll carve them. My wife likes to carve images of us on her pumpkins. Last year she did two with us kissing, they actually turned out really cool once she put a candle in it!

Wow that wolf one is really cool!!
We did a spider pumpkin a couple of years ago.. My dad cut the legs out from the side of the pumpkin (like strips maybe an inch wide) and then we hung them out the sides so that they looked like legs. It was cool, but someone took all the legs away

I got a large pumpkin today from the farm... I placed it outside where it needs some fresh air. I bought it for only $5.00 - that's it!
But, I'm going to get another pumpkin next month!
BTW, for your information, if you decide to buy pumpkin early this month, be sure to place it outside because if you keep it in the house, it will grow some molds around the pumpkin walls!
I learned something from 2 years ago!

How did it happen? I've never seen anything awful inside before... Did you carve it too early or what? Or before you carve it, you opening around the top of the pumpkin head and find out it was there?
