you know... in the early days, as our new country began to conjure together the ingredients to form this beloved holiday of ours... trick or treating was great influenced by the Irish... in which during hallowmas... the men and boys would go home to home, dressed in eerie attire, asking for drinks and money....
this blended into the christianized pagan tradition of the poor going door to door during hallowmas asking for food (soul bread/cake) in exchange for a blessing...

(note that there were other traditions from other cultures that played their part in this "mut" of a holiday we call American Halloween... but the blend of the Irish and our Christianized Pagan influences played the greatest parts in keeping the active tradition of early trick or treating alive in our developing country)

so really.... if we were to bring back the traditions of old.... we guys could STILL be going door to door no matter what age... while the ladies go into the woods, or circle around a mirror, what ever their beliefs may be, to take part in annual traditions of trying to the see the face or apparition of their future lover. (some traditions even claimed that they could possibly see how wealthy or healthy their future husband would be)

oh trust me... i believe it lol ever since bella left witchy has turned against me... like she believes i have something to do with the disappearance of ole club foot

I voted 15-20, but I actualy stopped ToTing when I was 13, becauswe I felt self consience about it for some reason or another. I've been kicking myself for that, because I've handed out ToT candy to a lot of my school mates as late as my senior year high school.

Besides, ANYONE, regardless of age, who comes to my door in a costume and says "Trick or Treat" on Halloween gets a piece of candy.
