I'm looking forward to 'Cockneys vs. Zombies'.

It brings to mind 'Shaun of the Dead'. I love the scene where the old lady with the walker outruns the zombie.

Re: Upcoming movies
So far I've seen The Cabin in the Woods, Dark Shadows, and Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter. The only non-horror-themed one I saw was Ted.
I can't wait for ParaNorman!

Had a few friends go see Apparition the other day and they said it was lousy. Bad acting and special effects, nothing original or really scary. They said they felt it was done by someone in college making his first movie. It must have been pretty bad, because these people like just about everything they go see.

Good to know. I still haven't seen ParaNorman. May save my money until Hotel Transylvania comes out. I like that it's about the classic monsters.

Re: Upcoming movies
Was in Target the other day and picked up the Halloween DVD of the TV series Psych. It's a comedy on USA with James Roday and Dule Hill. Roday plays a fake psychic who has a private detective agency with his life long best friend played by Dule Hill.
If you haven't seen the series it is a laugh riot. Especially if you remember the 1980's so many 80s references you'll be laughing from start to finish. In this Halloween DVD, you have them dealing with vampires, mummys, The Shining and Friday the 13th.
It has Corey Feldman, Kristy Swanson and others from movies you've all seen. The thing here is that its funny more than scary. The DVD was only $10.00 at Target with 4 episodes on it.
You might want to check it out.
