ParaNorman

Post by NeverMore » Tue Dec 27, 2011 6:56 pm

New stop-animation movie for us to watch next Halloween. Hopefully it comes out on DVD by October. The movie will be released to theaters on August 17th.

Norman lives in a town that is celebrating the 300th anniversary of it's most famous event, a witch hanging that left the whole town with an eternal curse on it. The town celebrates by having witch hanging piñata parties. That doesn't seem like such a good idea. Luckily, Norman can see and speak to the dead, which comes in handy when the curse wakes up a bunch of very angry zombies.

Here's the trailer... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NbtltCSpcU and here's a 2 page newspaper that gives a little background on the town and some of the characters. It's a pdf. http://www.empireonline.com/images/uplo ... wBugle.pdf

Nope. Still typing with my nose since the straightjacket tends to limit the use of my hands.

This looks pretty awesome. I can't wait to see it. I was a little disappointed with Coraline but I think ParaNorm will have lot more creep to it.

No way I'm missing this!
Halloween wraps fear in innocence,
As though it were a slightly sour sweet.
Let terror, then, be turned into a treat...
