Head in a Bottle/jar prop

Derek at MadHausCreative came up with a cool prop a while back. I made one a couple of years ago from his instructions. Here is his site:

This really is a cool and easy project to do. I also had a fellow haunter send me some more images and he asked that I post them on my website so that everyone else could have access to them. Here is the new page I put them all on:

I used to have some creature heads in the bottles long time ago, but I gave them away.

Well, not this year - maybe next year I probably go get some of them for Halloween yardhaunt of mine.

Hey ghostess, Thanks for sharing those links. Those heads look so wicked, and sound fairly easy to make, I just the love the one you made. You have so many awesome props, truly amazing!

I didn't post the picture of mine. The only pics I have of it are not very good and right now the bottle is in the attic somewhere packed away until next month. Here is the crappy pic I have:

It's on the right hand side of the shelf. I used a clear bottle. It was a last minute prop 2 years ago, and I had a Karo syrup bottle that I had emptied to use for it.

That Whole display is just awesome ghostess! And that head in a bottle is fantastic! Did you do all those potion bottles up yourself as well? Very welll done regardless

THanks. Yeah, I made labels and filled all the bottles. I'm remaking the labels this year for a more uniform look though.
