The Camera is a Vititar ViViCam 9112. It's a cheapy, but it works for it's purpose.

We have our beautiful blue lights up. I'll probably take a good picture of them soon in the near future.

We also have some little trees out there that light up, the white lights of the trees and the blue lights seem to compliment each other.

I used to be more of a fan of colored lights, but the white lights have grown on me, especially when accented with a string of another color. They also seem to compliment our tree. But the blue ones are just gorgeous. I love them, and I'm so glad my boyfriend got them for me. ^___^

Can't seem to keep the trees up in our dining room table. The cats love them, especially the kitten. We also have some garland that keeps coming off the main tree.

Found an extra pair of indoor-only white lights. I wonder where I should put them. I have one, maybe two ideas, but I'm not sure yet. I might just put them up until next year.

I'm just hoping I can get my tree up this weekend. A water pipe burst in a condominium we own (inherited from my MIL), and we had been using that place for storage, so we've had tons of stuff to deal with over there. And it is such a busy time of year--I've been in charge of Advent Soup Suppers on Weds. at church; daughter (a high school senior) has some special assemblies going on at school; and older son (a grad student in Nashville) has a holiday concert with a chorus he belongs to this weekend. We want to go up to hear it. Just so much to do!

I like all kinds of Christmas lights, but my tree is always multicolored. In the yard we have a crystal angel and crystal reindeer, but a double row of red & green candy canes.

That kitten is not looking guilty at all. Looks like he owns the place. Reminds me of my beautiful Alice, who died in 2011 and is still missed.

Your outdoor Christmas display is very pretty! I was in K-Mart yesterday and saw that the Jaclyn Smith collection is featuring blue and silver this year. Those are the "in" colors!

A few years ago a coworker thinned out her decorations and gave me the 2 ceramic Dickens houses, and the 3 putz houses came from a Safeway supermarket.

They are? I didn't realize that. I thought blue and gold were Jewish colors.

I googled it and realized blue and white were Jewish colors. I didn't even think about it. I just thought they would look pretty together. ^^; Incidentally I am of Jewish descent, even though I don't celebrate Hannukah myself even though I would like to incorporate some of the traditions.

Sorry to hear about your knee, Witchy. My tree is finally in the process of going up. I took yesterday off from condo clean-up to work on that. I hope to have it decorated on or by the 15th.

I knew that blue & white or blue & silver were associated with Hannukah, but I don't think they have it copyrighted.

If someone in my family were Jewish, I would have zero problem incorporating various Jewish holidays into our annual rhythm. But that is not currently an issue for us.
