Pshew, it's been a long year. I missed this place! Hope to haunt it frequently again.

Where've I been? Commuting. I was laid off in August 2013. Got a new job 120 miles away in Feb 2014, and spent a year commuting. We've finally moved, so I have an internet connection and a computer now. Yay!

We did Wreck-it-Ralph for Halloween last year... and no one could figure us out. I guess it had been too long since the movie came out. Ah, well, people are going to have a pickle of a time figuring out our theme this year.

I've been meaning to sew a regency gown for a while (think Jane Austin)... so I'm gonna go as Lizzie Bennet from Pride and Prejudice just so I have an excuse to buy lots of fabric and sew, sew, sew. Already have the fabric... just need to cut out the pieces. Yes, I really do have to start this early. I hope to finish my costume by August.... but you never know... I technically didn't finish my costume at all last year...

I'm hoping that the change of scene will help me keep my Halloween spirits up, for I've new children to haunt... Muahahahahahahahaha! Hahaha!

I've lots of spooky stories to share, but I still don't have a lot of time on my hands.

Good to see you all again. I'm looking forward to all the Halloween talk. =)

The new forum will take some getting used to, but I'm kinda used to the format already from other places I've been. It's more-or-less the same to me. The makeover looks good, though finding where things are may take a bit.

Trying to think of pumpkin patterns for this year. I finally updated my Deviant Art account for 2013 and 2014. 2013 was the first year since about 1996 that I didn't do an actual pattern design. =/ Ah, well.
