I'm sposed to go to a BBQ today but I don't really want to. Rather go downtown and watch the Big Bay fireworks. I don't mind fighting the crowds on a Saturday. Especially since I have access to the top of our newest highrise.

BTW: That pizza dip was awesome sauce!

Braats, macaroni and potato salads, grilled corn on the cob that was removed from the cob and tossed with mayo, bacon and spices, and Anchor Steam Summer Ale.

BUUURRRRRRP!!!!!!

I know I drank a few too many beers. The Shocktop Spiced Banana Wheat beer was interesting, to say the least.

I had a long and tough day so I made myself double fried egg sandwich with cheese on toast, and yes I slathered it with mayonnaise, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce. Don't tell my wife.

Okay. Time for you to take up BASE jumping.

BTW. Is that Petco in the background?

I feel virtuous because I swam early this morning (I do that on Mon-Weds-Fri in warm weather). Anyway, I had a latish breakfast because of that--honey crisp cereal stirred into vanilla yogurt, with a banana on the side. And of course coffee with milk.

Ayup. Can't believe those bums finally lost a series to Pittsblurrgh. You can see the convention center right behind it, where all the Comic-con hoopla starts today. They'll have the Walking Dead experience in Petco Park.

Actually had a friend who snuck up to the top of this building at night with her friend who was going to base jump. He felt guilty about her having to go back down the stairs by herself, possibly getting caught by the security guard, so he didn't do it.

Dude. Don't get me started. The Braves are four and a half games out, but I have faith.......they can do much worse and screw up royally before October and finish fourth or fifth.

There is a giant sink hole in the Yucatan in Mexico, that allows BASE jumping. All my life I've wanted to jump it, but you have to rope climb back up after you land, and at my age, I just don't have THAT much drive anymore.

I had to work late again tonight, so when I got home I ordered out for some Chinese food. Got some fried chicken wings and spicy garlic shrimp. I love that shrimp, but I'll be having heart burn all night and the ball and chain will be saying...I told you so!

The restaurant down the block makes heat-free versions of kung pao and Mongolian chicken for me.

They call them kung pao Andy and Mongolian Andy.

I should buy stock in Pepcid, I keep them in business. Had some fried chicken tonight so now my doctor will be made at me too. I don't give a flip anymore about my cholesterol. George Burns smoked a cigar every day and lived to be 100.
