The weather today in this neck of the woods is appropriate that I'm watching Sleepy Hollow.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

An episode of Home Town on HGTV.

It's the heir apparent to Fixer Upper.

I'm watching the series premiere of Mixed-ish waiting for the premier of Emergence.
Also looking around for what's coming up in October.

Right now, just the news. But yesterday I kicked off my Halloween viewing with Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, as usual.

I just finished off a "Quamtum Leap" marathon. Tomorrow I've also been screening "Dark Shadows" the original series, and I plan to start on "Friday the 13th the series" come Tuesday, and screen horror movies pretty much for the whole month.

Perhaps Clint Eastwood's greatest contribution to American Cinema.

John Kelso:
Hey, Joe, what happened?

Joe Odom:
Oh, that Jim Williams went and shot somebody. Canapé?

My family recently binge watched the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House on DVD. We thought it was very good! And lots of fun for fans of the novella and old movie. The story is re-imagined, but in such a way that it's creative and fun for those of us who know the source material well.

I would prefer if "The Haunting of Hill House" was out on DVD, because I am not set up for screening Netflix through my regular tv projection system. I would have to watch via the computer screen which is not much bigger then an 11x14 photo. The sound quality leads much to be desired, too.

Mike, it is on DVD. We bought it at Walmart, and it is a good one. It makes creative use of the novella to tell a new story, and it's fun for fans of the original to catch the allusions and homages. It's also genuinely scary in places.

Yes, we watched the parade and then the dog show today.
