HAPPY HALLOWEENMONTHDAY!!!!
The first of October is celebrated in our family almost as vigorously as Halloween itself, because it marks the day we start decorating. I even took off work! A big fat juicy car bill just wiped out my New Camera savings envelope, so the pictures of our progress that I'll post won't be Andybev quality, but I'll try to post some new ones weekly and update our madness. In the meantime, Happy Halloweenmonthday everyone!

About 198 and 42, Andy, but that's really nobody's business.
How about you, Old Chum? How are things out in Westworld?

So beautiful.
I wouldn't trade my time spent in California for anything however, the Pacific Northwest is the most beautiful place to live on the planet.

Re: HAPPY HALLOWEENMONTHDAY!!!!
I already have some of my decorations up, and plan to put up more as I get some more cleaning done. The only problem is that it's been unseasonably warm, so I still have to keep up on the lawn mowing and other yard work. The leaves will probably fall from the trees towards the end of the month or early November, but I'm STILL going to celebrated Halloween Month with a vengeance this year. I already have "Halloween II" loaded in the Blue Ray / DVD player.

Re: HAPPY HALLOWEENMONTHDAY!!!!
This place got really busy in the last few days, I'm glad more people are posting again and I hope everyone has a better Halloween than last year.
We are getting into full Halloween mode at our house, we started decorating inside the house already, but I'll wait to do the yard until the last week of the month. We also baked some Halloween cupcakes and the girls are helping me design our haunted gingerbread house for this year. We just have to get some pumpkins, and load up on candy for the trick-or-treaters.
The only thing I'm not looking forward to is costume shopping with the kids, it's always fun but you have no idea how indecisive a 4yr old can be about choosing a costume. I usually just buy her a few different costumes and some of them she doesn't even wear, but she is so adorable I can't say no to her.

Re: HAPPY HALLOWEENMONTHDAY!!!!
I 'trick or treated' myself to some freshly baked Halloween cookies from Steve's Bake Shop this morning. Additionally I screened "The Haunting" (the original version,) the first 3 seasons of "Tales of the Crypt," "Rose Red" and "The Haunting of Winchester Mansion" and it's only the 8th of Oct. I do have a few decorations up, and I really want to get the house polished up before I put up any more of my indoor items, and ideally I would like all the yard work to be done for the year before I put up the few outdoor decorations I have. I don't know if the weather is going to allow for the latter part of that, however. But you can bet the farm, I will be celebrating with a VENGENCE this year, now that the presidential election is behind us all, and Covid 19 is somewhat behind all of us.
Oh, and I also screened "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" twice so far, and I played the record album from that show twice as well while going online. Right now I'm listening to "Funky Nassau" by The Beginning of the End, but I do plan to play the movie soundtrack album of John Carpenters "Halloween" a few times before the month is out......come to think of that, that two record album has been on my turn table a few times through out the year.

I haven't watched Tales from the Crypt in years, I should go find some episodes.
I saw your post about the classic decorations you just got Mike, will you be posting any photos?

Re: HAPPY HALLOWEENMONTHDAY!!!!
Sorry it took me so long to get back to everyone. It's been a while, but I've been busy helping my brother with his move.
My nephew also decided to move to South Carolina so I was helping him, too. I'm afraid I don't have many pictures. Halloween was fun, however as I did give out ToT candy, and had some loud music playing in the background. They loved it.
At any rate, I'm back to stay. Just a note to whoever, I did have a lot of problems logging in and posting on Halloween.
