Now I've just come to the conclusion that I'm fine if people prefer dogs, and I'm even fine if people don't care for cats...just as long as they don't harm them.
I do like some dogs, my mom has a new puppy that is absolutely adorable.
And back then I said we weren't planning on getting anymore cats...but now we have 5. Sadly, one passed away in 2017.

The ones we have are all rescues, and they're all spoiled. And one of them just so happens to be the classic Halloween black cat too...and the silliest thing to ever exist.

I think the take home message is that it all really depends on personal preference. I'm still 100% a cat person, but I'm more open to dogs than I used to be. But I don't think my cats would be too happy if I brought one in.

Also Murf, good on you to take care of those kitties. Sometimes we humans have to step in and be the heroes animals need. I agree that they are equally affectionate in their own ways though.
