Excellent work as always, Cadaverino!

I just wanted to mention the line-up of films on TCM this Friday, ... some of my all-time favorites. These movies may not be the "classics" in the vein of Universal's heyday, but they were classics to me growing up in NE Ohio in conjunction with its numerous horror movie hosts --- Hoolihan & Big Chuck (Fridays, 11:30), SuperHost's Mad Theatre I and II (Saturdays, 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.) and The Ghoul (Saturdays, 11:00 p.m.).

"The Return of Dracula" --- back in my day was known as "The Curse of Dracula", and its finale is just a childhood memory that takes me back to a specific moment in time for me as a kid.

"The Return of the Vampire" --- simple and to the point. Lugosi, a werewolf, a graveyard, a crypt, etc etc. I could write pages about this often overlooked classic, but suffice it to say, I regard it as a great example of a bare-boned, horror story.

"The Curse of the Demon" --- Yeah, the big demon was intimidating for me as a kid, but this was the first movie where I realized I was just as scared about all the other stuff going on, and the concept of the Demon was almost anti-climactic. I've been meaning to mention this over on the "remakes" thread, because part of me would love to see it remade, but would dread the outcome far more.

I strongly encourage fans of horror films to take the time to indulge or at least record these movies; they are films of unique quality and charm that really can't be done in today's age and with today's sensibilities.
