Something strange that happened to me

The house I live in now is the same house I have lived in since I was about 2 or 3 years old (I turn 26 on Saturday) and I thought that I only ever had one strange thing happen to me in all those years until I read a post on here by Battycrimson. The house I live in was built bu my parents on what used to be farm land and then became lots for houses to be built on. My parents built the house so there were no previous owners and my family have been the only owners and occupants of the house. When I was younger, not sure how old at the time, but one night I was sleeping and was woken up in the middle night for whatever reason. Well I was tossing and turning in bed and had rolled over to my side towards my bedroom door way and there floating in mid air was a large green glowing floating blob. All I can remember is being terrified and throwing the covers over my head and yelling as loud as I could for my parents. I remember them coming in and turning on the lights and trying to reassure me that it was a nightmare but I know it was no nightmare. I have tried to tell people this before but they either laugh at me or think I am making it up or tell me that I was dreaming about Slimer from the Ghostbusters movies and it frustrates me because I know what I saw and know it wasn't a fictional movie character from an 80's Comedy. Now I had not experienced anything for many many years, it had only been that one incident until I moved my room in to the basement of our house. I work full time night shift so I usually sleep during the day except for one I am off from work. During the day I am usually home alone having my parents at work and my brother at school, the dog being the only other person in the house. Having slept in the basement I am very accustom to hearing all the creaks and bumps and everything that the house makes and that you hear when someone moves around upstairs or whatever. During the day when I sleep, nothing unusual happens or occurs, however at night it is a different story. Now it does not happen every night but it has happen on a number of occasions where I will be asleep and wake up to find that my bed is shaking. At first I played it off and pretended it was just a muscle spasm or something like that and went to sleep. Then it happened again and again and would happen every once in awhile that I didnt know what to think. I had even had a conversation with my doctor about it worried that I might be having some kind of ceasure or something like that but he assured me that I was in good medical condition and showed no signs of having ceasures or reason to be having them. Having just read the post from Battycrimson and then seeing one or two replies to that post also claiming to have their bed moves it made me start to think it may be something else. However they described it as a cat climbing on the bed and what I have happen seems to shake it quite a bit more, almost as if someone is shaking it or jumping up and down on it. When I say it shakes I am not taking like straight from the exorcist movie shaking but it is enough to wake me out of my sleep. After the way people had reacted to my story about the green blob when I was a kid I was reluctant to share this story with anyone other than my doctor, hey if he thinks im crazy at least he can prescribe me something for it, but after reading other similar stories on here I figured I would share and see what everyone thinks?

Well, that happened to me as before... same thing happened to some people... It could be some ghosts around there! Some ghosts love to play on people, even scary people! Maybe some trolls such as gnomes, minish people, you know, might be out there somewhere outside, even they love to sneak into homes where everybody lives there!


Not so sure if it is accurate or not... I believe ghosts are out there everywhere, but kinda doubt about trolls!

yea,,, i had my old bed shake once before when i was like 10... i had a bunk bed so one night i went to bed and i was almost asleep when i felt a weird shaking ... i opened my eyes and it didn't stop, and i could tell that it was shaking because the bars were moving since i was on the bottom bunk... and it takes a bit of strength to shake it... since it is made from metal!!! so like any scared child i screamed my way downstairs, but my parents just told me to go back to sleep ... reluctantly i did and it started shaking again,,, i ran downstairs again .. this time my parents followed and laid there until i was sure it would stop shaking,,, it hasn't shaken since, plus i have a new bed now thankfully

I had an experiance once too! Actually numerous times. I would wake up and I would feel like I just fell into the bed. Almost like I was floating. I don't know if it was me or something else, but I'm right there with you!

also theres this thing when you sleep you leave your body and go into this weird outta body exploration..... happened to my dad, wonder if it will happen to me

I think it happens to every one at least once. Both my mom and my grandma have had those experiences.

Anybody had sleep paralysis? Where you can see what's around you but you can't move for a few seconds?

I used to get sleep paralysis when I was little. Scared the c**p out of me.

Andy, what's up man? Glad to see you back.

It's happened to me at least twice. Very scary. I've heard both paranormal and scientific reasons for it happening. Either way it's not fun. I felt like I was having a heart attack.
